Final Score: 72 – 65 Duke (36 – 25 Duke at half)
Positives: Duke responded after losing ground, Singler finally played well, Henderson’s first half
Negatives: Duke’s defense in the second half, Henderson’s second half
For the first half, Duke looked like like an elite team, with Henderson leading the way. However, as they have tended to do all year, they faded defensively in the second half and let the Hokies back into the game. The offense sputtered along with the defense until Kyle Singer woke up from his 3 game slumber to carry Duke through for the win.
Projected finish: Sweet 16.
